The funniest thing is I HATE TO COOK- I should make a kitchen photo folder to prove I do work in the kitchen;)

I want so badly to go OUTSIDE! :) I have had such a great week- It's so nice! This week will be busier than the normal tho- so I wanted to get my 52 weeks photo up asap so JUST incase I can't shoot again. Tomorrow my boyfriend and I will have date night - movies and dinner :)- on Thursday we will celebrate Thanksgiving at my mom's house- Then saturday we will be heading 2 hours north for Chris's parents Thanksgiving. I am very excited thou since I will get to go out and take some photos with his sister!

Work will also be very busy this week due to the Holidays- Everyone and their mother will have an issue with their hearing aids :) I'm sure of it.

I just wanted to post some behind the scenes photos from tonights- very rushed-photoshoot. I did this so quickly and really wish I would have spent a little more time on it. Reshoot sometime!? maybe. I did ruin a drawer in my NICE dresser for this ;) as you can see!

So- I am trying to write a photography book- it's taking FOREVER! I can't wait to move so that I can just go HOME and stay HOME- compared to running around like a maniac. I'm also going to do a few changes in my life.

I have obsessive compulsive disorder and have delt with it for many MANY years- I'm against medication and kinda just DEAL with it... well- I'm going to do some of my own theraphy for myself and really see if I can calm this down a bit. I just keep telling myself to relax-and I don't, so this time around- instead of TELLING myself- ILL ACTUALLY DO IT! now there's a thought *note sarcasim*

Well- Life has been - BUSY. as always- That's all I can ever feel like I can say- I just feel BUSY! I work as an audiology technician at a doctors office and I cant seem to concentrate. I just think about what photo I can do next, what project I can start and so on. I really think I just need a change in my life. I feel blank- Like i can't keep up with myself- I'm too much for my own good to keep up with. I'm tried and I can start to see bags under my eyes but I keep pushing myself for something- but what?! I have a list of things I want to do and everytime I scratch one thing off- five more go on it. I have to sort things out. This is just a bunch of rambles. On the happy note- I got to see Jonsi- my favorite musician last weekend. The bf and I went to columbus OH *four and a half hours away* and spent a good amount of money to do so- but it was worth every single penny- i adored the show like i thought i would and if it were up to me, id stalk the rest of his tour!;) I work at the hospital tomorrow- so i need to get some sleep- i hate working at the hospital - i like my homebase at a small doctors office *even though we seem to be busier than the hospital* It feels like the days go faster. I know that tomorrow will go so slow cause I'm not at my homebase. I am kinda...sad today. sorry to rant and rave.

I'm writing a book of before and afters and how to's so I'm not goin to post much on how I do my photos- I really don't think to many people actually read this anyways. I came home to my toilet spewing bubbles today and the maintence people being crazies... Then found out that the guy that set our building on fire three years ago is out of jail and in our neighborhood.... im ready to become one of the crazies right about now. plus- i hate alcohol. some people just shouldnt drink it.

I came home from vacation today...

It was overall a great vacation-
but-
I did lose my perscription glasses in the bottom of conneaut lake... trying to jump in the water to waterski, and my glasses are now gone-yep, forgot to take them off... then the ski rope broke... snapped out of my hands, im gonna try to upload a video of it... THEN I COME HOME TO THIS IN MY PISSER! yeah it was gross and now I'm afraid to pee!
Then as im editing my photos- TWO MORE ran into my bedroom where i sleep... CRAP! now what! i have one under a shoe box lid, i cant seem to kill them, i get all freaked out... i want to, i just cant catch them, they are too fast! GOSH IM FREAKING OUT RIGHT NOW! HELLLLLLLLLLLP

I wanted to take so many nice photos this week while I was on vacation. I did not do it. I don't know if lazyness just set in or if I was just enjoying myself too much to do anything but relax for the week, but these are some of the ones I actually did take. I still need to unpack and I have a video I want to edit and try to get up here sometime this week. I got a lot to do. We went out on the boat to waterski, and with my luck, I jumped into the water with my 400$ eye glasses. I do wear contacts but I like to wear my glasses more... I LOST THEM IN THE LAKE! They are currently swimming with the fish. I'm so upset since I do not have eye insurance... There goes another 300 some bucks on a new set of glasses that I will have to squeeze into my schedule this week... Wonderful. anyhow, hope you enjoy the photos!

So It was H-O-T today. 94degrees... But I had this whole other idea of how I wanted this photo to turn out, then it started to get really gross out and we decided to call it a day with the photos that we took. I really only got this one that I could really work with! I wish now that we would have shot a little bit longer. My air conditioner is broke and its sooo hot in my apartment right now. - I did this for the THEME OF THE WEEK for flickr. It was 'Summer fun' this week and I could only think about star gazing. I love to catch a shooting star or two out of the corner of my eye. I didn't have a night sky for the shoot, so I made some of the own stars... Enjoy the behind the scenes! <3 xo I go on vacation in a few days and can't wait to have time to shoot some more photos!! I just wish I could lug my computer to the cottage to edit... that will be the hardest part of not being home!

UPDATE- Finally have a few minutes to write some things down here! This shoot was for Theme of the week for flickr! The title of the theme was NIGHTMARES! I really had a hard time coming up with ideas for this, then all of a sudden my mind was flooded with too many. I did this very last minute and it turned out okay. The idea behind it was that my nightmare would be being trapped with only me, no one else to talk to or share thoughts or feelings with... My biggest fears are fire and death, but it scares me so much I couldn't bring myself to do a photo of either one of those. I do have nightmares about dinosaurs all the time...YEP THATS RIGHT- but again, I didn't really want to do a photo of a dinosaur chasing people... yep, that would be my rant right there! :) What kind of nightmares do you have?!

So I will try to post some behind the scenes on here as often as I can... LIFE HAS BEEN INSANE! All I could think about at work today was to reshoot my idea... then once I reshot it, I wanted to reshoot it again...now, all I can think about is bed. I love to be inspired! This photo was inspired by the Great Rosie Hardy. I love her work and her creativity. This is one the artists that I came across on flickr that really made me want to do photography and for now *while im still younger* focus on Self portrait photograpy. I like self portraits not because I am a narcisitic or anything but because I get the emotions I want out a photo, I can do it on my own time, Don't need to upset anyone else if they dont turn out. lol. so for now. that is why I love to do self portraits. :)

I went and saw a cover band for pink floyd! I really thought that I was watching THE pink floyd! My dad bought tickets so me and my mom and him went tonight. What a show! the lights, the band, the voices! check out the trailer for the austrailan cover band above, and then... this next video(below) they covered, i posted the orginal pink floyd version cause I could not find the austrailan pink floyd cover of it. but this is by far my most favorite they covered tonight! enjoy!

I'm a bit obsessed with a band by the name of Sigur Ros... translated in english to Victory Rose. They are an icelandic band who amazes me with every song they have ever written. Even though I do not understand the Icelandic language, they are one of the most moving artist I can think of. Anyways, I'm on this kick that I am going to visit Iceland. Not because of Sigur Ros entirely, but because the land looks beautiful and fresh... untouched. I want to try to travel a bit more often and this is the next place I want to see. I am going to post a video of Sigur Ros, its actually a trailer for their DVD that I am longing to see... but people have been questioning me on " why iceland?? why not somewhere tropical.".... this is why....

HAWAII 2009

March 15-24th

What an amazing trip to Hawaii! Parasailing, Hiking, Snorkeling, renting minni three wheeled cars, drinking on the beach, watching the famous sunsets, hiking volcanos!!!... what could be better?! NOTHING! I want to go back!
The only thing that was difficult was that we had a 20 hour trip home... 20 HOURS! two stops-three planes. 2 hours in LA and 4 in Atlanta... i hated coming to work the very next morning. Time changes are hard to handle ... i'm still not up to par!
